Members will be aware that many other car clubs have informal breakfast meetings through the year, usually on a weekend. An opportunity for both retired and working members to socialise.

Your committee discussed this recently and suggest we might trial run for a monthly Sunday morning starting at 9.30 am on 22nd November at the garden centre at Manor Farm Shop, Leasingham, NG34 8JN

So, we can measure interest, would you please let us know if you are likely to attend by Wednesday 18th November, and we can advise the venue numbers accordingly.

The post MG Lunch 17th June appeared first on MGCC Lincolnshire.

The Lincolnshire Centre of the MG Car Club is pleased to announce the return of our popular Pride of Ownership evenings for the 2026 summer season.

These relaxed and enjoyable gatherings provide members with the opportunity to showcase their MGs in friendly surroundings while enjoying good company at a selection of excellent local venues across Lincolnshire.

Unlike formal concours competitions, our Pride of Ownership events are judged by the venue’s landlord, adding a fun and informal touch to the proceedings. At each event, the winning cars will receive a commemorative rosette with rosettes awarded down to third place.

A small entry fee will be payable on the night for those wishing to enter.

This year’s venues and dates are:

• The Wishing Well, Dyke near Bourne – 13th May
• The Abbey Lodge, Woodhall Spa – 4th June
• The Ferryboat, Washingborough, Lincoln – 23rd June
including a BBQ  bookable beforehand – here is a link to the entry form https://mgcclincolnshire.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Lincoln-POO-2026-entry.pdf
• The New Inn, Great Limber – 5th August

Whether you are entering your MG or simply coming along to admire the cars and enjoy the atmosphere, all members are encouraged to attend and support these enjoyable social evenings.

We look forward to seeing a wonderful variety of MGs throughout the summer and sharing another successful season of Pride of Ownership events.
