Private Screening – Le Mans 66

Date: Saturday 12th September

Arrival: 7:00pm for 7:30pm showing

Venue: Kinema in the Woods, Coronation Road, Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire, LN10 6QD

Join us for an exclusive private showing of the acclaimed film Le Mans 66 at the beautiful Kinema in the Woods.

This is an intimate event with just 21 seats available, and 9 have already been reserved, so don’t leave it too late to secure your place!

The Gerry Blythe Memorial Classic Car TourDate: Sunday 6th September
Arrival: 9:30am-10:00am
Venue: Start venue is Horncastle Garden Centre, Lincoln Road, Horncastle, LN9 5LY

There are still some spaces for our next classic car tour, featuring approximately 90-95miles of the best scenery that Lincolnshire has to offer. You can expect:

·  A full road book

·  Commemorative rally plate

·  Hot drinks at the start venue for driver and navigator

·  Hot drink and cake at the finish venue

·  Ice cream parlour lunch halt (ice cream not included in entry fee)

·  Goody bag

Visit to Witham Oil & Paint – Lincoln

We have been invited to attend a tour of Witham Oil in Lincoln on Tuesday 31st March from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm

Ten places are available and these need to be reserved by contacting Dave Stonehouse. Refreshments will be available during the visit.

Trading since 1921 with a lubricant manufacturing facility based in Lincoln they are one of the UK’s leading independent manufacturers.

Rover Day

The event takes place at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre East Kirkby and is a display of MG Cars, Rover Cars, and these are complemented with a number of other smaller marques. On top of this, the venue is superb being the home of “Just Jane” an operating Lancaster Bomber. The only thing the Lancaster does not do is actually take off but during the day the Bomber fires up her engines and taxis around the airfield.

Above is the star of the show “Just Jane” alongside and extremely proud to be in such company are the 3 cars chosen as the best cars of the day. Well done to them on that particular occasion.

On numerous occasions over the years, we have been treated to various flypasts, none more so thrilling are the times when the “City Of Lincoln” part of the battle of Britain flight and only flying Lancaster in this country, treats us to a flypast and some slo-mo aerobatics
