We have traditionally presented our annual awards at a Dinner & Dance held in January or February but since the restrictions of Covid and the reluctance of members to attend the last Dinner & Dance held on 26th February 2022, we conducted a survey to find out what members wanted.
Only 28% of members preferred an evening dinner with dancing followed by the awards presentation, where as 43% of members opted for a less formal lunch time gathering.
The MGCC Lincolnshire Committee have therefore decided to change from tradition and the annual gathering to celebrate the 2022 Year of MGCC Lincolnshire and present the Annual Awards will be a Sunday Lunch event held in the Woodland Suite of the Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa.
This will be an opportunity for members to get together again after the restrictions of Covid have forced many MGCC Lincolnshire events to be postponed or cancelled.
We have the exclusive use of the Woodland Suite with reception bar; meeting at 12.30pm for lunch at 1.00pm. The 2 course lunch will be followed by a slide presentation of 2022 events and then the Annual Awards and Trophies for 2022 will be presented.
